Broken night

This morning we woke up after a broken night. We were at a campground and a couple next to us were arguing about something in the middle of night. We didn’t get that much sleep. Lucky for us the weather is excellent so we could leave and after only 30 km we found ourselves a great quiet place to camp with only birds.
On our way we had different landscapes. We enjoyed paddling between rocks but it is the great powerful Atlantic and all of the sudden a 2 meters breaking wave appeared in front of the kayak. I was waiting for the shower because I could look inside the curl but it brook just behind the kayak. Oeps close call. Have to look more carefully were I am paddling but even then those wave come without any warning.

Paul and I are also very busy getting on weight because we don’t want to be back skinny. We eat what we can an that is a lot of things you normally have to be careful with. Next to our diet with lots of vitamins an vegetables we discovered muffins, donuts and osnaburgi or something like that.
On the photo you see a sort of chocolate donut and it is mmmmmm after a paddling day.

We would like to thank all the people for there loving and supporting words after our decision that we had to skip a part of our circumnavigation. We certainly needed that because I mostly felt a bit lost. Paul is more realistic then I am and that is truly the best way to deal with things like this. But for now thanks and we enjoy the last part. Tomorrow 20 km of cliffs no escapes.
